“BEOS Berlin Prime Industrial” is geared towards high-quality corporate real estate in established Berlin locations. The initial portfolio of the fund, with a target volume of around EUR 800 million, includes a part of the former production site of Schering AG in Berlin-Charlottenburg, the “Max Dohrn Labs”. As part of the “berlinbiotechpark”, the property offers office and research space to companies from the technology and life science sectors in particular.

The initial investor of the fund, which is managed by Swiss Life KVG, is Swiss Life Asset Managers Proprietary Insurance Asset Management (PAM). As a central internal business area, PAM manages the assets of the Swiss Life Group’s own insurance companies. However, the fund is also aimed at a small circle of other institutional investors. With the purchase of the “CURVE Campus” in Berlin-Adlershof in 2021, the new fund gained a corporate property, which once served as the corporate headquarters of the solar module manufacturer Solon.

Today, the site is home to renowned tenants from the high-tech, IT and life sciences sectors and offers many companies space for innovation and progress.
